Guildford and the University of Surrey hosted the second 5G-DRIVE meeting

The city of Guildford and partner University of Surrey received the second 5G-DRIVE project meeting on January 15-17, 2019.Over the course of 2.5 days, project partners presented the progress achieved and engaged in important discussions on forthcoming project activities.

Day 1 kicked off with an overview of progress made in each WP, and then jumped into WP specific discussions. The last part of the day included a detailed presentation on the 5G infrastructure available at the University of Surrey.

Day 2 focused on concrete discussions related to the trials for eMBB (WP3) and V2X (WP4). The discussions centred on the trial setup, plans, expected results and reporting.

The project meeting wrapped up on day 3, which was dedicated to discussing the plans for the upcoming project review in May 2019, as well as other project-specific discussions.

It was a very fruitful and productive meeting that helped establish the foundations for the work that will be developed in the coming months.

Guildford and the University of Surrey were great hosts! The consortium will meet again in a few months, in Zurich.
