The EU “5G-DRIVE” and Chinese “5G Product R&D Large-scale Trial” projects will kick off their cooperation activities next November 2018.
Over the course of one week, the 17 EU and 8 Chinese partners will have the opportunity to present the two projects, their objectives and defined outcomes, and discuss possible cooperation activities between them.
The two projects will discuss the details for joint trials, focusing on specifications and test plans, and will also discuss other items related to standardisation, 5G services and the development and promotion of joint results.
In addition to work meetings, the partners will visit a number of facilities across the country that are currently conducting 5G focused trials.
